iRacing - Universal SimHub Dash
Here is a SimHub Dash Studio dashboard I made for iRacing. Its purpose is to provide the maximum of useful information no matter what car you drive. I named it “Universal SimHub Dash for iRacing”. As its name implies it’s meant to be used with any car in iRacing. This way you don’t have to change your dash every time you change car and you always have a familiar dashboard.
I hope you’ll enjoy it.
Note that this dashboard cannot be used on iOS devices
The dash comes in 2 version. With RPM LEDs (1280*800) or without the RPM LEDs (1280*665):

Great work. Look forward to using it. Thank you for the awesome dash. Is there a way to display imperial units?
@nsanbyker Hi. Thank you 🙂
Yes, you can change the preffered units in SimHub settings screen.
Hi I have downloaded and installed the files and changed the plug in settings but still cant get it to show on display
Hi. The dash doesn't load at all? Or the settings don't apply? And what device are trying the rin the dash on?
Double check the iRacingEstraProperties and Checklist plugins are enabled in the settings/plugins screen and try restarting SimHub.
Also there is a known issue with the dash settings breaking when loading an iRacing car for the time. Restarting SimHub should fix the settings and reloading this car the next time should not break them again. Wotever already fixed this for the next SimHub update.
You can download the beta including the fix here : https://simhubdash.com/unofficial/SimHub.7.01.4b1.zip
If this doesn't help please zip and share these 2 folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\Logs
C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\NCalcScripts
hi thank you for the reply, I’m trying to run it on a 4.3 nextion display connected via USB, I’ve normally had to load a dash onto the screen then pick the template through sim hub
I see. This dash is not compatible with Nextion screens.
This is a Dash Studio dash. These can run as on screen overlay, dedicated hdmi screens, android/iOS mobile devices or USBd480 screens.
Nextion are something else and require specifically made dashboards.
@romainrob. Ok cool well at least that explains it
where can you get the screens from as I’m having trouble finding any
Try searching on Race Departement. I think some Nextion templates are shared there.
You could also search/ask on the SimHub Discord
Amazing work man! I have this running on an old android tablet it's incredible.
The only area that appears to not be working are the invisible buttons (toggle tires, add fuel, toggle fast repair) - any thoughts on what that might be? When i attempt a button, i get an audible click but in the black box nothing gets done. Tires remain unchecked and fuel un-incremented.
Additionally one of the buttons i think it's the Fast Repair i got a popup from windows asking me what kind of program to open the file with. I mapped it to Simhub and now every time i push that button, Simhub pops up.
Hi Dave and thanks for the king words.
The tactile buttons trigger autohotkeys scripts to type commands in the iRacing chat. It seems your are missing autohotkeys.
Here is how to enable the buttons and use the buttons:
How to install:
- Download and install AutoHotKeys : https://www.autohotkey.com/
- Restart SimHub.
- Make sure your "Text Chat" button ingame is "T" (Options/Controls/Other Controls).
- Have a look at the Dashboard buttons layout (see 2.3.3 or use the help button).
- The buttons are disabled when iRacing isn't running.
- Spamming the buttons very fast, may cause some commands to miss as the iRacing chat won't be fast enough to register them all.
- If windowed, the game window need to be in focus or another app or Windows will receive the Autohotkey inputs.
- If the dash is displayed on a PC screen, make sure to run the dash in desktop mode (as opposed to HTML mode) or the buttons will only work when the dash is in full screen. Click on the “More” button to switch mode.
