How long are these strips and how are they wired and powered?
We need more information to accurately help you.

Also, is this a genuine Arduino or a counterfeit CH340 one?  There are lots of problems with the last category.

What could be causing this problem? if it were the arduino board the first strip wouldn't work either, I guess....
