I doubt an AI would be able to help get past the point I'm stuck at right now, which is figuring out the parameters for a checksum calculation. I just need time to write and run a script to try and brute-force them on the data I've already collected, once that's done I shouldn't need much more time to actually get a release out which supports the GT3 wheel (and possibly the SF1000 as well, if it uses the same checksum parameters).

@raemca Unfortunately no, when my schedule freed up my laptop that I was developing support on died and by the time I got my replacement set up things had gotten busy again... I'm hoping to be able to pick development up again in a few months.

@prodigal-knight I deleted the post since i realized there is no way to connect with the wheel being connected to the console instead of a PC, so i guess its no use.

@gnkyrios I'm using whatever data SimHub is parsing from GT7's telemetry in order to control the LEDs, so it sounds like something is missing from the telemetry. From a quick search I found someone displaying raw telemetry data on screen last year when the secret API was found, but I'm not seeing max RPM among it. I don't know if they just chose not to display it or if it's not present.

You could try seeing if max RPM is present in "Car settings" -> "Per car overrides", and if not, manually setting it for whatever car you're in to see if that fixes it.

Failing that, it would be handy if you could check the SimHub logs for errors from my plugin, that would help track down if it's an issue in my plugin that's preventing the LEDs from working.

@kemonoteraces I've acquired a 488 GT3 and I'm working on deciphering the packet format already. I will post further updates to the ticket on the repository. I'm not sure exactly how long it will take for me to figure out the packet format but adding support in the plugin once I do should be fairly quick.
