That's weird, there was indeed such issue with version before 7.4.2, maybe the update did not worked as intended, can you try the following procedure ?

  • Delete the following folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\_Addons\Arduino\DisplayClientV2
  • Reinstall the latest simhub (it will restore the latest sketch)
  • Try upload again

If it doesn't help can you join the profile being used using the export profile function ? i tried this morning using button matrix and encoders with no particular issues, so maybe the issue is hidden in a specific combination and the profile will help to hunt it.

I try to compile an Arduino Pro Micro (clone) with button matrix (5 columns and 4 rows) and 3 Rotary encoders (no button) and it gives me a compilation failure
I tried with different Arduino Pro Micro, different USB ports and different USB cables and it always gives me the same fault
I am using SimHub version 7.4.6
Other times before I have compiled other Arduinos Pro Micro (clone) without any problem
