Maps not working on iPad Mini

Hello yall, so i just started i bought myself a g29 today and set everything up. Afterwards i watched some videos and noticed people using some old tablets as dashes as soon as i saw that i picked up my old iPad Mini 2012, bought the license for smoother results and tried it, some dashboards worked fine but some with the maps like for ETS2/FH5 wont work or lets say atleast the map doesnt show anything. I tried it on my iPhone 15 and it worked fine, on PC it works too just the damn iPad wont does anyone know why exactly? I read other forums people using even older iPads which work for them im really helpless since i dont wanna buy some new Dash if i have this old iPad i could use.
