Hi all, I am trying to setup a windsim and just began by running through the Arduino setup before soldering anything on to the board.

The devices detect fine, I'm using the old driver to avoid the win 11 issue, but once I upload the prebuilt sketch using either pwm fans or motor the Arduino boards just randomly disconnect and connect. It appears to start slow and then gets faster and faster.

I've tried different USB ports, different cables , even added a power supply to the uno board but still the same issue.

Any ideas ?

As a test I even completed one board fully with the fan connected and still the same issue.

It's doing my head in.
