Feeling pretty dumb. I found where you can map a keystroke to a function - so now I have the Z key mapped to enable/disable motion which forces a recalibrate. You do have to press the button twice once to disable, once to enable but I think i can handle that!

If the double press is the only thing that's a little cumbersome, you could consider adjusting it further if possible (maybe tweaking the delay or how it's recognized). But even with the double press, it sounds like you've got a pretty solid solution.
Are you planning to map any other functions to different keys, or just focusing on the motion recalibration for now?

Hello, I recently built a Simhub Belt Tensioner I love it!. Normally, feedback is great - except if things get really hairy (crash) etc. And the accelerated stepper movement will occasioionally 'pop' or lose steps. (might be because I'm leaning forward at that moment, etc). I was thinking if I had a programmable USB key (like a single key on a keyboard) Many options available @ Amazon for example. If the software had that feature I could mount that on my dash and when I press that button it would tell the arduino to stop sending feedback data to the arduino, repark the levers and reset '0' point then start resending data.

Thanks!
