Hi.

I am using the game activation via command line. How can I use this with custom games? Where can I find the games name?

For example:

SimHubWPF.exe -switchgame Wreckfest2

Switchs to Wreckfest 2 but I have created a custom game name XYZ and can't activate it the same way.

What do I need to do? Or is it not supported?

Thanks

I have encountered this exact situation! With PolyTrack custom games, SimHub does not accept the command line like—switchgame XYZ. I create a separate profile and activate it manually in SimHub. Hopefully, the next version will allow custom IDs; it will be much more convenient.

Activating a custom game via command line offers developers and power users a streamlined way to bypass GUI limitations and launch specific configurations instantly. By invoking a simple terminal command, you can specify custom maps, mods, or rule sets without navigating menus manually. This approach saves time and reduces errors, especially when testing multiple setups quickly. Overall, the command line method increases flexibility, repeatability, and control over game sessions.
