How to create a custom effect for acceleration (only) using telemetry data from game

Good day Team, I trust you are well.

 

I have built a sim rig that uses Arduino, motor controllers, and pneumatic pistons, all controlled by sim hub. It works great so far however, the piston that pushes the rig up ( to simulate acceleration) is "jittery".

I Am assuming this is because the acceleration is being dipped for each gear shift. I played around with the settings, but it still bounces the rig unnecessarily.

Is it possible to create a custom effect using the acceleration of the vehicle without the gear shift, so that the piston can go up smoothly?

I tried to click on "add custom effect", but I then get stuck with the stuff that says " syntax functions" etc

Game is F1 2021
