My setup is a 10700k with a GTX1080 and a AOC G-Sync compatible monitor.

In NVIDIA driver, I have VSYNC turned ON and 75Hz in "Max Frame Rate" (in "Manage 3D settings) and G-Sync set for "Enable for windowed and full screen" (display settings). My Windows 10 Pro is set @75Hz.

If I set rF2 to fullscreen, I can have G-Sync working fine with variable frame rate (atested by monitor's FPS counter).

Going borderless on rF2 to use SimHub, and the monitor's framerate stays @75Hz (monitor max). Same if I call a window from another program over rF2 - the now "foreground" window takes over the FPS. No need to say, if game goes below 75Hz it stutters all over the place.

Another thing I noticed, racing in Nurburgring against 29 AI cars, start at the last position, rF2 set to show all cars, in fullscreen mode, T1 is made without a problem (no stutter) but with SimHub it stutters badly (FPS goes down to 38 or even less). After that, the game seems to run ok as long as it stays capable of delivering 75fps (99.5% of the race).

  • How can I set SimHub to "foreground" so it can use fps imposed by rF2?
  • What could be my problem or is this normal and unavoidable?
