| Map any numerical sim property to a PWM value? | 5 Relevance | 5 years ago | dak47922 | Simhub General | |
| Hey there, I'm fairly new to the software but im loving it so far. My question is: Is it it possible to take any sim property that outputs a numeric value and map it to a PWM output on the arduino? For example im trying to have a 5v analogue gauge display my air system pressure from ats. I understand how its done for the basic instrument cluster gauges but not for others like air pressure or truck battery voltage ect. Thanks! | |||||

| @coyote The map only displays the current truck location and nearby information; navigation route information cannot be displayed because the game developers have not developed telemetry information for navigation routes. | |||||

| @johncox @kronk2020 Essentially you have to open the dash in the SimHub editor and find the button for which you want to change the keypress. 1. Open the Dashboard in SimHub (right click then EDIT) 2. Make sure Screen Hierarchy is open (F2 if not, or Windows menu top of screen) 3. Make sure Object Properties is open (F4 or Windows menu) 4. Next, open each folder in Screen Hierarchy to find the button you need. (button) 5. Click on the button on the main screen. 6. Scroll down the Object Properties window to find the "Simulated Key" property. 7. Type the new key you want into the box next to "SimulatedKey". 8. Save the dashboard. 9. Make sure to reload the dash before testing the new key assignment! I've attached a screenshot showing the layout for the Light Panel button. The principle is the same for all assigned keys (apart from the Ignition Button) Attachment : Screenshot-2025-10-22-131958.png | |||||

| @hjfawf8765 Thanks! The Secondary Monitor is a Widget. You have to select the secondary monitor in the panel on the right which shows the dash elements, and then choose Edit Widget. This video may help but if you still get stuck, let me know here. | |||||

| Hello, author, thank you for sharing the file. I have a question, how to change the keys corresponding to the control button of the secondary monitor? I tried to find it, but nothing was found. | |||||

| @shushumaster Value is fixed to KM/H. I wanted to help you out and change it. But the dash is protected for editing. Hope the dash creator Oliver can help you out. I think the fuel is set to percent, not computed percent. Had the same issue with my farming dash. By changing Liters/Gallons. Unfortunately i cant edit it for you | |||||

| It's a real shame, I had put all my interest and admiration in this project, I bought a license, and it doesn't serve what I want... We are in the same case. Currently I use the "TruckSim-Telemetry" library, for Javascript, but I think SimHub could give much better results... I hope they listen to us soon and give us a solution. | |||||

| @busdriver The githubproject ETS2-telemetry-server is the reason I just joind this community. The project is not updated in 6-7 years, and requires a bit of knowhow of json and css to make your own. I have tried to configure new variables in the files there based of the documentation, but to display them is a real pain. So I was hoping SimHub could be an alternative. Stryders Sim Dashboard app for android is great, but it's not possible to display it through other than the app | |||||
