This haptic feedbck gamepad has awful software from NLR, but works perfectly in Simhub. This thread is for any advice or examples on best results for the vibration motor profiles.
Any one have a good starting point? There’s so many settings not exactly sure where to begin.
right now I feel like I have way too much going on to distinguish any specific vibrations.
It's best to start with fewer effects. Overall, it works better on ACC than AC because effects like decel and rumble strips are not possible in AC. Also, the knob on the power control needs to be turned up all the way to the red LED. I would like better shifting feedback, currently I can't feel it in any game.
@raytruant mostly using it in ACC, and yep, doing my best to start small based on some reviews I’ve seen on YouTube.
Shifting is actually the one that I can always distinguish, I’ll share the profile I’m using later today once I get off work.
Hi All,
I can’t get this to work with any game using sim hub. I can get it to work on AMS 2 using the awful software that comes with it. I’ve followed the directions and if I press test on the tuning menus it generates rumble but nothing in game even AMS 2 when I follow the setup.
can someone give me some pointers as to how to make this thing work on ACC and AMS2?
My settings for ACC and AC:
GAIN 100
ABS OFF
ACCEL 19%
DECEL 95%
GEAR GRINDING OFF
GAR SHIFT 100%
JUMP LANDING OFF
LATERAL GFORCE OFF
MISSED GEAR OFF
ROAD IMPACTS 100%
ROAD RUMBLE 100%
ROAD VIBRATION 60%
RPMS 82%
SIMULATED ROAD TEXTURE 40%
SPEED OFF
SPEED WITH CURVING OFF
STATIC WIND OFF
TC OFF
WHEELS LOCK 100%
WHEEL SLIP 100%
Make sure simhub is runnng, that the game appears on the icon list, and that you have selected the game, before you launch ACC. Also configure the profile under "shakeit Motors" and assign the motors on the second tab "motors output". Save the profile. Make sure the pad LED control wheel is red.
On icon page, on upper right, game config, make sure game is properly configured and the right UDP port.
