Apologies if this is the wrong part of the forum to post in, mods feel free to move this post as necessary.

I've created a plugin for SimHub which is capable of controlling the LEDs on Thrustmaster Ferrari 488 Challenge Edition wheels, available here https://gitlab.com/prodigal.knight/simhub-thrustmaster-wheel-led-controller

Hi first of all thx for this plugin it's very good, secondly i have an idea for the led option dunno if its possible but here it is. Last led (white) shouldn't light up while shifting gear but instead flash fast when the user wants to (eg. Yellow flag) or be permanently off as it makes me a lil bit mad when all lights are in colour and suddenly at the end it is white

@fidos-96 Thanks for the feedback! This would be a rather major change to the plugin so if I do implement it, it will be some time before it's available, especially since I don't have any games which have flag functionality at the moment. If you could provide a telemetry recording of a race which has flags for me to test with I'd appreciate it.

@prodigal-knight i'd like to provide telemetry just don't know how (bearly installed your plug in lol), also i came with another idea that it would be nice to set every animation speed individually eg. I want lights to blink in pits slower than they blink while rev limiting

@fidos-96 I've created an issue on the repository to track your first request (will be creating another shortly for this one), you can record telemetry using the buttons in the top right of the SimHub window while running a game and attach them to the issue via email, I believe https://gitlab.com/prodigal.knight/simhub-thrustmaster-wheel-led-controller/-/issues/3 (I'm not entirely sure how it works if you don't have a GitLab account, to be honest). If you're unable to upload directly to the issue we can figure out another way to get the recordings to me.

Version 1.1.0 has been released, adding support for per-animation blink rates and removing the animation speed modifiers which were present on animations in prior versions.

Because of the shift from a single animation speed to multiple, your previously configured animation speed will have been lost and all animations will default to a 50ms blink rate.

Version 1.1.1 is out, adding a "Night Mode" to all shift light techniques, as well as fixing a bug where a currently playing animation would continue to play until LEDs were deactivated when the game is paused - the animation is now paused at the same time the game is paused and resumes when the game is unpaused.

@fidos-96 Wondering if you've been able to record telemetry yet. Not meaning to rush you, just wanted to follow up.

Version 1.1.2 is out, adding calculation of sunrise and sunset in order to automatically switch between day and night modes for shift lights techniques. If you enable this feature you can provide your current location as latitude/longitude and the plugin will calculate when sunrise/sunset occur for you automatically.

There's a disclaimer in the settings screen about it as well, but your location will not be shared/sent/analyzed ANYWHERE when using this feature. All calculations are performed locally and your location is only saved in the main plugin settings file so that you don't have to update your location every time SimHub starts.

Version 1.1.4 is out, fixing a bug relating to disconnecting/reconnecting wheels while SimHub is running and also guaranteeing that RPM scaling techniques work correctly regardless of your min/max RPM percentage setting.
