I recently had a ton of issues after updating from v8 to v9, which was also accompanied by latest RSC collection.
Essentially all my overlays lost their transparency elements and were just ugly black squares on the screen.
I reinstalled the older v8 SimHub over the top of the new one, same with the RSC pack and after a reboot everything worked as it did.

Not sure if it was the v9 update that broke transparency or the RSC update, or a combo of both, but really messed up something that worked perfectly.
Appreciate any feedback.

I'm not sure what's going on with v9, but I'm not sure I like the new format as it looks nothing like v8 and don't like how it makes the screen very dark when you go into edit mode - makes it more difficult than it should be to position elements correctly. Why the need to change this?

Bump - I guess no one else is having this issue?

Anyone got an idea of what could be going wrong with my loss of transparencies on my overlay elements?

If this forum is dead, is there a better place to find answers?

@globespy you have more bug dedicated way :
https://www.simhubdash.com/community-2/simhub-support/bug-reports/

I've recently seen occurrences of issues caused by third party software used to lower the brightness for visual comfort (night conditions ...etc ...), I can't tell why as it's not possible to known what this application was doing to the simhub windows, but it breaks all transparency, I guess it's the only one. can you check that you have no similar applications ? In the recent case it was MicaForEveryone which was messing up
