Just installed the BKG2 to my simrig and I am seeing some weird behavior with the Gamer2.

The Gamer2 would turn itself off every so often and very random. I will be in a game for ~10 mins and I notice that the BK turns itself off; the light on the remote goes from green to red. i wait 30 secs and turn it back on then it works fine for 20 mins or so then again, turns off. I've touched the transducer and amp; both are cool to the touch. The transducer is actually cold.

- I have 2 sound outputs: a USB sound card (headphones) and the normal PC output
- The BK is connected directly to the normal PC output
- Using latest SimHub fully license software
- Playing Assetto Corsa and iRacing (BK turns off in both games)

The BKG2 is super fun and immersive when it's working but annoying to have to keep turning it back on every 15-20 mins. Is this normal behavior?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi ! I fear that it looks like an issue with the amplifier. The best way to test is to use headphones and check if the signal is still coming out of the sound card. Unfortunately buttkicker amplifiers are known to have reliability issues. Usually it's more about overheating. I would try first to reduce the effects volume to see if it helps the amplifier to keep alive.

@admin5435 Okay, thanks, I'll check the sound output. Reached out to BK support too and hopefully can get a replacement amp.
