Capturing a value for a calculation.

Each lap I want to capture the current session time remaining at start finish line and use that time as a discrete number for an Ncalc calculation for the duration of the next lap until the current session time remaining value updates the next time the car crosses start finish. The process then repeats each lap. I am trying to understand how to do this simhub, or even whether it can be done? Assistance appreciated.
