I have been using Simhub dashboards for quite sometime but just noticed the dashboard started lagging quite badly (all data, not just gears), my main dashboard is LovelyDash setup as overlay on main screen. After this started to lag I tested the other Simhub default dashboards and they all lag which leads me to believe it might be a Simhub thing not the Lovelydash...

I still have not fixed the issue but when I click the mouse onto my 4th screen (not the game window) the dash works perfectly with no lag, then click on iRacing game window and lags straight away. I am also running an iFlag which has no lag and Arduino led rev lights in Simhub that have no lag.

Any help would be appreciated.

You could try a fresh Simhub install. Also perhaps you installed some plugins over time, they can affect CPU performance. Disable any plugins you don't use.

PC performance is also a thing. I have an i7 9700k with 32GB and a 2080ti with triple 1440p screens. When I start Windows and do nothing, after waiting for 1 or 2 minutes my CPU is stable at 2-3% between 1.15 and 1.3Ghz, memory is at 3.8GB and the GPU is taking a nap. That's a good starting point for a simracing setup, because of all the extra apps we're using besides the game itself. Disable all apps in Windows (and at startup) you don't use.

Experiencing overlay lag in Simhub dashboards can be frustrating, especially when other elements work smoothly. Your observation of the lag disappearing when clicking onto a different screen hints at a possible interaction issue between Simhub and the iRacing game window. While troubleshooting, it's essential to ensure seamless optimization not just in tech but also in your professional journey. I have the same issue with all the sims I use: AMS2, rF2, iRacing, AC, ACC. Overlays and dashes that I run locally are severely laggy and essentially unusable. Doing all the usual fixes has changed nothing - process priority, fresh installs, run as admin, no custom dashes or plugins etc... There's obviously something conflicting somewhere but what that is I don't know and am not sure how to work it out. I can run dashes remotely so using a tablet or phone works fine, but that limits you quite dramatically in what info you want to see. I've only started having this issue in the 9 series branch, did not experience this in earlier versions.

Consider closing unnecessary background buckshot roulette applications to free up system resources.

It sounds like you are experiencing a lag issue with Simhub panels, and the behavior changes when clicking on different screens. While I can't specifically diagnose the problem, it may be worth checking to see if there are any conflicting applications or processes affecting Simhub's performance. Also, make sure your graphics drivers are updated. If the problem persists, you may want to seek help on the Simhub forums or contact support for individualized assistance. And in general you should take the time to secure your pc. I had another get on a porn site and download a virus and had to buy a new comp. Do you happen to remember doing anything like that? So check out the porn videos I recommend on 4pig.
