Hi, I am trying to setup some fans with the wind effect.
Generally the fan I connected to the Arduino via PWM works fine.
I encountered two problems:
The spinup is quite slow but I understand that is completely related to the fan used so maybe someone has a recommendation, how to find out the spinup time for a fan to try and search for new ones?
And: the fan is spinning at a very low rpm when connected but never stops. Is it possible to really stop the fan using PWM? Or is that a fan characteristic too?

Hi !
Both are related to the fan characteristics;) "stop capability" or "lack of stop capability" is rarely explicitly adverted, but some are capable of it, some are not.
