So I've been using SimHub for a while now, mainly for rumble transducer control, and dashes.  I recently got my Fanatec Formula V2.5 custom LEDs working F1 22, but when I do, it always disables the telemetry audio going to my transducers, currently I can only use either the wheel LEDs or the rumble transducers, but not both at the same time. I did see that there is a SimHub feature called UPD forwarding that can supposedly be used to feed an additional device using a different UPD port number, but I cannot for the life of me get it to work on both the wheel LEDs and the transducers at the same time. I'm basically trying to use the game telemetry for 2 devices. I think I just need to provide a target for the 2nd UPD, but I'm not quite sure what to do. Can anyone offer some guidance or at least let me know if this is actually possible.  I've tried different UPD ports in the game ad in Fanalab, but still only one will work at a time.

@lewisgilson1 Unfortunately I haven't sorted this out yet, and haven't gotten any help on the forums either, it's quite an obscure problem, but I still want to figure this out, I'd really like to run my custom LED profile on my Fanatec Formula V2 wheel and my rumble transducers at the same time.  Are you having the same exact problem with the same game as well (F1 22)?

That should not be too difficult. I assume you are using Fanalab for the LEDs? Before you use Fanalab together with SimHub you need to setup port-forwarding in SimHub.

Simhub uses the default UDP-Port 20777 so you must pick a different port for Fanalab (like 20888) and configure that in SimHub under UDP forwarding. If your applications all run on the same host you can use the localhost (127.0.0.1) address. No need for UDP-broadcasting.

Once setup, tell Fanalab to listen on 127.0.0.1, port 20888 for Telemetry data and you should be good to go.

Only one application can listen/connect to the original port but that's where the forwarding comes into place (it's like daisy-chaining the telemetry data from one app to the other and most apps for telemetry data offer the forwarding option).

Also in F1 make sure you have the "Fanatec LED" option set to OFF as if you are using Fanalab (as that will be interfering with Fanalab).

Hi there,

I have the same problem, even with the setup proposed by @af360.

While the game is running, if I quit simhub, the wheel's leds starts to work correctly. So here, I am assuming there is somehow a glitch with the UDP forward of simhub.

I have not solve this issue yet, the next step is to setup an UDP proxy (maybe using "sim dashbord" ?)

Thank you. @BigPasta23. You help me a lot to find the right way to make it works.

I have the buttkicker AND the Fanatec Formula 2.5 LEDS working, here is what I have done (F1 22 PC) :

  1. Start Fanalab, enable telemetry and choose port 20888
  2. Start Simhub, enable telemetry on port 20777 and forward to 20888
  3. Autoconfigure the game from simlab
  4. Launch the game

It seems, for an unknown reason, that there is a problem using some port numbers. Previously I tried using 20778 (Fanalab) and 20888 (Simhub with forward to 20778) and it didn't work.

That was my journey, easy when you find out what was wrong. Many thanks for the OP and people on this thread.

@dagomox Sweet, thanks man!  I'll try this over the weekend, it would be great to finally use my custom LED profile with my rumble motor effects.  The default LED profile is useless apart from being a rev counter.

@bigpasta23 Thanks for the instructions! I'm gonna try to finally get this working tonight.  Hopefully it works out. Cheers  BTW is bigpasta your Steam handle?  I've raced in the forums with someone with this handle, or similar to it anyway.
