Volume setting does not work.
I'm in trouble because the sound is too loud.
Both 0 and 50 remain large.

I also have this issue.
The AudioControlPlugin.SoundsVolume property updates correctly but the volume level doesn't actually apply.
I tried changing the sound card and it didn't work either.
No error in the logs.

Hopefully @wotever will fix it in a future update.
He usually doesn't leaves features in broken state for long once he's made aware of an issue.
