White bars above and below dash

hi, I’m running Lovely Dashboard on an old 3rd gen Kindle Fire HD 7 (1280x800 resolution), and when I run it via the browser option I see white bars above and below the dash. Is there a way to change the background color of the browser page to black to match the dash?
