I have an arduino nano board with MAX7219 8 bit 7 segment LED module and it works great, however the WS2812 5050 RGB LED 8 bit does not work, what can it be?

The problem was that the LEDs were defective, I have put others and it works.

Hi! Did you replace with another kind of strip? or same type but second item?
I have issue with them. works only 2 diodes from first strip. if i change order, works first two from second strip :/

I put the same ones, luckily I bought several and the others worked.
