So I followed the instructions from Amstudio on their Tach project. I was able to get it connected and the board sketch was uploaded. After this I went to calibrate it and nothing happened to the tach. the needle didnt move no matter what RPM setting I chose. Any ideas???

Ok - fixed it. Suspect there was an issue with the board, might have cracked when it was being cut. All good on a new strip board section.
