Hi, I can see the web plugin has a high average execution time, and the overlays are throttling.
I don't know if this is cause or consequence tbh.
The throttling would imply SimHub is waiting for the overlay to send it data, which usually occurs when sending data over wifi to slower web devices, not locally to overlays.
I'm not familiar with this exact issue.
Here are A few thing I'd try:
- Capping the game frame rate to leave some resource for the overlay.
- Slowing down the Web Engine: https://github.com/SHWotever/SimHub/wiki/Troubleshoot-Dashstudio-Web-access#adapt-the-rendering-speed-to-your-conditions=
- Not running the overlays in HTLM mode (more button in the overlay list)
- Test without the Vocore screen to see if it's causing the issue.
- Look for settings impacting windows refresh rate (game mode, graphic drivers settings...)

Hi Romainrob. In the Input Display - Steering section the Image for the steering wheel is not changing at Simhhub and not showing in the in-race overlay. Gears numbers also do not show. What should I look for? I'm running SimHub 8.0.1 and RSC 1.2.1.

Additionally, the properties filter popup windows won't close once you open it. I have to restart SimHub if I open one.

@tghost Hi, thanks for reporting the issue with the property picker. I'll upload a fix shortly.
I attached the fixed plugin if you want to try it.
Simply close SimHub and overwrite the 2 files in your SimHub install folder.

Regarding the the issue with the overlay.
In the settings, are the wheel images listed in the drop down menu? Or is the "Image" menu empty?
Could you please zip and share this folder? C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\Logs

Great update, as always, it's going great. I don't understand very well the data that shows the ffb overlay, it shows very high values, from 88nm at the beginning to the last time I used it, it showed 33nm max torque when my base (a csldd) is only capable of 8nm.

@tgunator Hi, and thank you.
I agree this is a bit confusing at first.
I'm used to the old ffb strength number, but it's not exposed in the data.

The max Nm is the in game strength mapped to you wheel max force.
It's the end point of the FFB curve.
Higher ffb strength setting = lower max Nm (and higher risk of clipping).
At least that's how I understand it...

You can can change the ingame notation with this setting in the app.ini btw:
displayLinearInNm=1 ; Display the force level in peak Nm when using the linear mode

Hi, is the extraProperties fixed on the last version? I just downloaded the 1.24 update with simhub 8 and the modular input overlay is not reading the extraProperties or they are extremely slow to update (like @tghost said previously), still great work with the update.

@jorget The issue with the property picker reported by @tghost should be fixed in the current version.
But I've identified an error loop occurring in some cases, preventing the plugin proper execution.
See the attached file if you want to try the fixed version.
Simply close SimHub and overwrite the 2 files in C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub with the ones in the attached zip archive

Please let me now it helped.
If not, please zip and share this folder? C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\Logs

Thanks @romainrob. The property selection window is now working normally for me (V 1.2.4)

However, none of the inputs are registering in Input Display. I do have the correct properties selected for wheel and pedals (used "show game specific properties (rawdata) checkbox to identify properties).

The images for the wheels are listed and files are present at C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\ImageLibrary\Romainrob\Steering Wheels. Just that selecting them does nothing.

Here is the file you asked for

@tghost Hi, it seems there is something wrong with the plugin ExtraInputProperties.GameSteeringSaturation.json setting file.
Could you please share me all the ExtraInputProperties.XXX.json files you have in C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\PluginsData\Common
Then close SimHub, delete these files and start SimHub again.
