Realistic Gas Pedal

Hey guys,

im new here, cause i wanted to ask someone about that idea i had..

My plan is to take a throttle body, which connects with a throttle cable, or how u call it, and uses the Info from the Potentiometer with a microcontroller.

The Reason is, i dont like E-Gas.. and i think the mechanical Gas is way cooler.

What do u guys think? Is it doable to use an arduino with a potentiometer?
