Is there a way to add manufacturer icons for the recently-added GT3 Ford and Chevy so it'll work with the various RomainRob collection stuff? I glanced at parameter in SimHub and it looked more in-depth than the usual dashboard editor tweak. (hopefully an update is forthcoming but in the meantime if there's an easy tweak I'd be delighted to learn about it!)
Hey, I figured it out! In the interest of helping out any other noobs like myself: All the logos are kept in your Program Files/SimHub folder, in the Romainrob subdirectory for car logos (Mine was "C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\ImageLibrary\Romainrob\Logos Cars") and then you just need to copy or create an icon with the exact file name that SimHub will end up looking for, and it'll auto-populate in the various dashboards.
For example, the new GT3 Corvette needs a file named "Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R.png" (exact caps and spaces and the .R), and the new Mustang GT3 needs an image file called "Ford Mustang GT3.png". Easy way is just copy any of the other ford logos and rename the duplicate, for example, or you can make your own logos.
There's probably a smarter way to find the exact car names, but I just joined an IMSA practice session and watched my relative to see how the "IRacingExtraProperties.RLB_Behind_CarLogoPath_0" variable was reading when the newer cars went by in the Dash Editor.
I recorded the process (which took way longer than it should have because I missed the ".R.png" in the 'vette name, but if you're a visual learner you can watch my steps here, timestamped: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2175625478?t=0h1m53s
Recently the plug in seems to be working very intermittently for me. I have a dash which uses a couple of the gap properties (ahead/behind and in class ahead/behind). In most of my races over the last few days, they've just been showing as 0.0
I've reinstalled the plug in, updated the plug in, reinstalled SimHub (both clean and with transferred settings) but I cannot seem to get this to work anymore.
If I look at available properties, I also notice that IRacingExtraProperties.GapTrackingReady = false
Could this be related and why would this be?
I do think other functions within the Plug In work - as driver names are generated - but not the gaps weirdly.
Any help will be massively appreciated!!
@joe_tomlin Not sure if you got this sorted, I've noticed that unless I have a complete lap for a particular car on that particular track, my relative functions don't show up. Once there's a complete lap in the system, it seems to remember that going forward and everything works normally. So these days it's usually only something I see with new cars or new tracks for the first few minutes.
Hi Guys ,
I’ve just installed simhub on my new pc. I’ve installed the RSE package for the plugins. I use the sounds plugin for the low fuel and pit warnings but it’s giving me a best lap time update after every lap in Iracing and I can’t see where to turn this off. It’s not part of the dashboard itself as I turned the dash off and it still happens. i am running the soelpec dashboard. Any ideas ?
on my previous pc i didnt get the lap times announcement
Hey @RomainRob! Thank you for your software. Hey I had a request.
I play Gran Turismo 7 and while I see RCS has introduced new Properties for me to use (ExtraInputProperties.SteeringAngle), those properties do not respond when used in a Dashboard.
Two other properties introduced by RCS, namely Throttle and Brakes, although duplicates to already-existing similar properties in Simhub, work, but specifically Steering Angle is not responsive.
The overlay containing the wheel works for both Accelerator and Brake works, but the wheel remains static. Is there a way to fix this?
@romainrob Hello! I need some help! I have the new version of SimHub and I am unable to install the Overlays through the installer (👉 https://www.simhubdash.com/community-2/dashboard-templates/romainrobs-collection/), specifically the Input Display. I kindly ask you to provide the link so I can download it separately, just the "Input Display" Overlay. Thank you very much!
@romainrob I have sounds activated; i get speeding beeps, i get pit entry speed beeps, but I'm not getting the countdown to the pit stall, or the countdown leaving the pits to go wide open. I only wanted pit assist turned on as i use a different spotter. I do have the iracing spotter muted, I use DRE, I tried turning of DRE and still nothing
Hi, can someone please help me with the NCalc formula that shows the "fuel to finish in Litres"
It's been a while since this has been updated. Any plans on continuing the development of this dash, as i fid this the best dashboard for IRacing.
Thanks
